‘I am the Warrior’ at the Pumphouse
We want your art, craft and hobby work!
We are looking for all kinds of creative activity to show in the second version of ‘I Am the Warrior’, a collaborative exhibition at the Pump House Gallery in Battersea Park, from 22nd October to 11th December 2011.
We are interested in anything you consider creative and that you have made yourself. The work will be shown in a constantly evolving display. Submissions might include:
Painting, Ceramics, Photography, Felt Making, Songs, Sculpture, Musical Instrument Making, Embroidery, Cake Decorating, Woodcarving, Poetry, Masks, Costume Making, Printmaking, Poetry, Performances, Flower Arranging, Fanzines, Films and much, much more…
There are no restrictions to the type of artwork, craft or hobby work you can submit. All we ask is that you are able to deliver your work to the gallery during the times listed below and collect it at the end of the project. Work should be suitable for a broad audience, the gallery is open 11am – 4pm Wednesdays – Sundays, Free Admission.
- How to include your work:
You can drop your art work off every Saturday during the exhibition between 11am and 4pm: (22nd and 29th October; 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th November; 3rd December)

Up to three works per person may be submitted. Please contact us before submitting works that are over 1 metre in any of their dimensions. There is no vehicle access to the gallery. Pump House Gallery’s has a broad audience including local families, while we seek to invite a range of creative expression, occasionally some submissions may be inappropriate for the space and/or our audiences. Pump House Gallery reserve the right not to display work in the show which we think is likely to cause offence, or is hazardous to our visitors.
